Bacino Di San Marco

This is a dusk view of the Bacino di San Marco inlet or outlet of Venice. During the Crusades, this port was the launching point of the Crusaders before they hit the modern day Middle East. Gondola vendors now line the ancient port. For about 100 euros in the off season you can tour the canals.
